It's better than TV: Samsung 40 "LN40A550 or Sharp 42" LCD HDTV LC42SB45U?

Both TVs have a resolution of 1080p, both have the same price as Black Friday, and both seem to be pretty darn good television. My question is which one of these two TVs is a stronger image / angles Vision superior / colors. The Samsung TV has a 30,000:1 contrast ratio, while the Sharp TV has a ratio of 8,000:1. What do these numbers? Samsung is better.Great picture quality.
