Toshiba A300 Laptop Wireless Problem?
Hi I bought a Toshiba A300 laptop yesterday, whch is a lovely laptop, since it runs so fast But after making the first boot with Windows Vista, Bluetooth works well as it does almost everything else, except for wireless Internet now I've been through all the settings, and reports no wireless drivers are now there, but the light is orange when the switch is wireless, and it is on, I'm lost why this is, if someone can help me in this urgent matter, i would be most grateful! Ok which my wireless network, as I already have a computer that is wireless but the wireless light when you turn it on is orange and does not connect when I put in my wep key etc, disbabled is like, but is not allowed as it is because the reporting system! I have done with FN F8 key, and informs me that all wireless devices are mainly, Bluetooth works well, but still no wireless LAN, I know from personal experience that is suppsoed for the activity, and chnages Blue, but it seems that there is now a defective wireless card is Atheros AR9281 wireless network adapter, new laptop, and not wireless, and I guess I'll have to move back unless anyone can think of something else that might have overlooked? It is not the Firewall as I found this, seems to be a hardware fault with the wireless adapter, since even in the orange indicator next to wireless switch, which is supposed to go blue when wireless found my wireless network that is strange
CTRL ALT DEL and open Task Manager and select the menu that gives you then type CMD RUN from this type of configuration of IP, then tell you if your network card at work, you should get something like this. IP address 192.168.1.100 Subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 then if you can not have a fault. You can also ring toshiba, and they are very useful as a group to work with them all the time.
